FEATURES

PRECISION DRIFT CONTROL

Ag Shield offers the only roadside sprayer on the market with a Patented Boom Shield. The shield creates a zero wind chamber within which the chemical is applied. Within the boom, chemical can be applied without fear of drift in 25 MPH winds with 15 MPH of forward motion. The shield's containment makes for a more concentrated spray on the target area for greater effectiveness.

CONSISTENT INTUITIVE BOOM LEVEL

Ag Shield Roadside Sprayers feature a hinged boom with a Gauge Wheel at the center and outer edge that ensure the sprayer follows varying terrain closely. This design ensures that sprayer shield stays in close proximity to the ground for safety and maximum effect.

DURABLE REFLEX DESIGN

Our Boom Break-Away feature ensures long life to your sprayer and minimizes on-site maintenance. If the sprayer's side boom hits an obstacle the boom will "break-away" allowing the impact to be safely absorbed and the obstacle to be passed. The boom will automatically reset to its operating position for uninterrupted spraying.

SPRAYER CONTROLS

Ag Shield Roadside Sprayers come with a standard in-cab control system that is integrated with the sprayer and allows for the operator to easily control all sprayer functions including lifting and lowering the boom.

EASILY TRANSPORTED

Ag Shield Roadside Sprayers are designed for easy transport. Simply fold the boom(s), lock into place and drive to the next job site. When putting into operation unlock; unfold and lower the boom(s) into operating position.

We spray about 200 miles of roads per year, some roads we spray three or four times and save an average of two passes with our grader. We can spray in 45 km per hour winds and never have more than six inches of drift.

OPTIONS

EASILY HANDLE BRUSH AND SHRUBS

Our sprayer booms can be configured with shield-less end-nozzles that can provide spray coverage for shrubs and trees deeper on the sides of the road.

MULTIPLE TASKS IN ONE PASS

Ag Shield Roadside Sprayers can be configured to handle multiple different applications during one single pass of the sprayer. With the proper tank, pump, nozzle and boom configurations you can spray two targets with separate chemicals as desired (ie. road with one herbicide, shoulder and ditch with another). This makes for an extremely efficient spraying operation.

SPRAY RATE CONTROL

We offer an option Spray Control system (the Microtrak 3400 F 11) that monitors the speed of the sprayer and moderates the spray rate for accurate spraying over varying speeds.

SPOT SPRAYING CAPABILITY

For highly-concentrated spot spraying, Ag Shield offers a hand operated spray wand that allows for quick access and application.

RANGE OF CONFIGURATIONS

Ag Shield Roadside Sprayers are offered with a variety of different configuration options. The standard center boom can be paired with a left and/or right boom section. Ag Shield sprayers can be mounted on a pickup truck, a flat bed truck or a tractor with a 3-point-hitch. Ag Shield also offers different tank and pump options depending on your needs.

OPTIONS
