Plan on High Quality

ReCon 300 in action Plan to beat the rain with the ReCon 300.
Use the ReCon to GUARANTEE fewer days to baling.
Don't risk loss of quality and  up to $50 per ton by delaying harvest.
You can make premium hay even if the weather doesn't cooperate.

High Grade Product

ReConned Swath Beside Non-ReConed Swath ReCon 300 decreases drying time, and hay is much more uniform.
The Recon blows out the brown leaves in grass hays - don't bale them.
Swaths are mixed and flipped to prevent "zebra" or "tiger" bales.

Swaths Cure Evenly and Quickly

ReConed Swath Beside Non-ReConed Swath Pulls wads apart - no moldy or hot spots , especially in large bales.
Breeze through the Fluffier swath cures:
Low spots and hill tops evenly.
The north side as fast as the south side of the swath.
The bottom of the swath almost as quick as the top.
ReCon has proven to be the only good way to get hay dried down to 10 or 12 percent for double compressing and export to the Pacific Rim.

New Features For the ReCon 300

The reCon 300 Dual Drives Dual drive with 2 robust #80 chains for more crimping power.
Chain Case and Super Duty #80 Chain Hardened Sprocket & super duty #80 chains, enclosed in oil baths keep chain wear to a minimum.
Showing Crip Differences with Wires Provides 1.5 X more crimp area than a ReCon 200, with 6 times the pressure.
Small Rear Flap Adjust Top flap adjusts for improved swathes in some conditions.
Inline Adjust Circled in White The Inline Quick-Adjust stops let you set the amount of crimping in seconds. You can adjust easily to changing crops and conditions.
Machined Roll With WIre Rollers are machined true and set to .040" apart

Reconditions, Inverts, and Mixes

Moving a Swath Over Fluffs up the swath for better breeze penetration.
Split Oat Stems Splits stems and usually reduces drying time by up to 50%.
Faster drying means less sun fading and moisture damage. RFV can drop 5 -10 points per day when the hay is laying out
ReCon 300 picks swaths cleaner than some pickups .

Speed and Efficiency

A Fast ReCon300 Field speeds up to 10 MPH (16 KPH) can get you over 40 acres an hour!
The ReCon 300 can get you through enough hay for a day's baling well before lunch.
Once you have the swath moving 30 MPH through the rollers you have many options:
Adjusts the side deflectors from the tractor seat to the side and invert the swath to set it on dry ground.
Move the deflectors a little further you have a swath inverter.
Two Swaths Combined with the ReCon300 Move them a bit further and it replaces the rake to combine 2 swaths into one, on cuts up to 12.5 feet.
4 Stops on Inline Quick Adjust Inline Quick adjust the rollers for fluffing.

Post Rain Swath Reconditioning

Two Swaths Combined with the ReCon300 Lifts even swaths held down by crop regrowth.
Knock days off time to bale after rain.
Save the crop while it is still good quality.
Some producers report that in poor conditions they have run grass hay through up to4 times because of repeated showers and still exported a #2 grade.

Alfalfa Hay

ReConed Alfalfa The ReCon 300 splits the stems to speed up drying by 50%.
A reCon300 in Alfalfa Hay When the hay is reconditioned after 1 to 3 hours the stalks will dry to the core faster.
In areas where hay takes 4 or 5 days to cure, owners are are baling in 2-2.5 days at 12 -15 % moisture.
The ReCon can still be run with leaves that have dried and become fragile if ReConned first thing in the morning when there is still dew on the plants. If necessary run at a slower roller speed, sometimes with rollers set apart.

Grass Hay

A timothy swath that has been fluffed by a ReCon300 Grass hay has a tough and waxy surface making tougher to dry and tends to form a "thatched roof" situation.
Cracked Timothy Stem The Recon 300 cracks 30% of the nodes, fluffs up the swath, and kinks the stems even in grass hays.
ReCon has proven to be the only good way to get hay dried down to 12 percent for double compressing and export to the Pacific Rim.

Other Crops

Oat Stems After Reconditioning With oats and other cereals the ReCon 300 cracks most nodes and splits the stalks over 75% of their length to permit complete dry down in about half the time.
Oats and other cereals still have a good color in the product, and much less chance of rain damage.
ReConed SorghumSudax After ReCon Pass - Note the white cortex With Sudan grass and its sorghum hybrids the large coarse stalks cause palatability and drying problems. The ReCon 300 thoroughly cracks the stalks to turbo charge dry down and make a softer feed that livestock love.
Reconditioned Hemp Fibre Bails After a pass with the ReCon hemp stalks and Sudan grass make denser and easier to handle bales - less bale breakage & hauling.

Corn stover really benefits from a Recon pass. You et much faster drydown, make  better bales and have more palatable feed for the stock after ReConing.
