Spinner Spreader |
In some areas and crops, spreading the windrow after reconditioning reduces drying time even further. |
The spreader consists of 2 hydraulic motors run in series through a variable speed control valve. |
Depending on the crop, the spinners can be set for tedding from 8 to more than 20 feet wide. |
Control the spread width on the fly using oil flow control from inside your cab. |
If your tractor doesn't have flow control, an optional flow control kit is available. |
Hydraulic flow requirements are 6-16 GPM, for both open and closed center hydraulics. |
See the spinner spreader in action in the movies
page or on links bar to the left.
Deflector spreader |
When you want to spread your crop after conditioning and the spinner spreader might be overkill,
the add-on deflector fins for the top deflector will spread the crop out to 11 feet. |
Leaves a thinner mat which will dry in less time than a normal windrow. |
A low-cost way of spreading your windrow; the fins simply bolt on to the top deflector. |

Ensure that a double swath or mat greater than 6 feet wide gets through the ReCon. |
Walking Beam Axel
The recon walking beam axle allows the the ReCon 300 to run smoothly
over the worst rutted fields. |
The walking beam axles are available as either a factory options or
a retrofit kit. |
In a rough field the material exiting the back of the recon can be
deposited unevenly, the walking beam axle helps the recon to ride
smoother to deposit a more uniform swath. |
A staggered walking beam is available for beds. |
This allows the recon to travel at a consistent height compared to
the top of the beds to allow the ReCon to consistently pick up the
swath without picking up dirt with it. |
