Since 1983 AG SHIELD has been serving rural Manitoba and beyond with quality and innovation. Located in Benito, Manitoba, AG SHIELD Manufacturing employs 25 - 40 people and manufactures the most complete line of Shielded spraying equipment in the world!
Now AG SHIELD has expanded its product line with:
- Recon 200 in 1998
- Yield Shield in 1999
- MultiTrailer and Cross Auger kits in 2001
- GFS (Ground Following System) for Ag Shield Mfg booms in 2002
- ReCon 300 in 2003
- GFS for most other boom in 2004
With a marketing area from Texas in the south, to Alaska in the north - about 60% of production is exported, and about half of all sales are made to operators in the rapidly-expanding custom application industry. Recently Ag Shield has begun to export as far as Australia and Eastern Europe.
